Well the protest march was pretty much like anticipated more of an protest shuffle - but hey, at least it shows that people pay attention and care, I'd say that's already pretty good considering the world we live in and all the troubles beating in on us for attention left and right.

Also it seems Kippei-kun started a bit of a trend XD. Somehow when we got there the people seemed to think his bald head was a symbol for his support of the Buddhist monks and nuns in tibet, especially considering the poster he was carrying and there was a wave of communal hairclipping in response. It was really pretty awesome. I haven't done it yet << - I'm attached to my hair even if it seems to be sent by the devil to kill me in my sleep and or ruin me by the sheer costs of hair care products I need - but I'm still considering it, after all hair does grow back and it would make a point, especially when I go to China during the holidays.

Speaking of holidays, I think the exams will be ok. I've done all I could to get prepared so now I'll just have to wait and see how it goes.

ok girls! We're all having a though time with the work we gotta do right now with term end coming up.

So I've decided we need to have something to look forwards. So I propose an End of Term Oskan style celebration. Just let me know when would be a good time and I'll take care of the rest. Oh and attendance is mandatory. We deserve to have a good time.

I went to Tokyo to see the Dalai Lama during his stop over at Narita on Thursday.
It was awesome and inspiring to listen to this man. He's got so much spirit and energy despite his age and everything he's been through. And he's so positive, bot bitter or aggressive at all. Seeing him I can understand why so many people are moved by him and his message. I really hope there is a way to improve things for him and his people.

Well - been pretty quite last week but there's something that's been on my mind.

See, my trainer told me he thinks I should try out for the Olympics. I'm fit, good at Tennis and the right age and have the time right now. Who knows how things will be in 2012. Plus it's not that far - I mean China is a hell of a lot closer than London will be.

So I've been thinking about it - and I was pretty close to saying I was going to go and try out for it at least when I saw THIS about what is happening in Tibet and it made me realize that there's much more at stake here than just my own ambitions.

China is a country where human rights only exist on paper, where a cultural genocide is happening right before our eyes and I can not with my consience in tact overlook all that and take any part in the Olympics.

I know some of you guys went to the trials as well and I would like to ask you to think about what you are doing. The olympics are going to come again in four years - it's not that long but if we all show that we do not agree with what is happening in china we might achieve something much more worthwhile than any medal. It's the chance to do something for the good of all people not just yourself so I hope you'll agree with me and boycott these games that are held in a country that opposes everything the games are supposed to stand for.

Hello again everybody!

Coming Monday it's my 18th birthday and I am planning a little party under the motto of BEACH, BOOZE and BOYS. Anybody who wants to come is welcome - presents not required, just bring yourself :D Since we're going to be celebrating at the club Tropical (OOC: Made up fake Beach club) I would recommend everybody bring a towel and swim wear be it shorts, speedo or a bikini for the more effeminate of you boys ^_~ You can bring your boy/girl/whatever friends too. The more the merrier.

So, I'll be glad to see you there.

Sen-nii, Kura-nii, Kenya-nii, Zaizen-kun, Yuuta-kun and An-chan, I'm counting on you guys. I figured we can meet earlier after we're all done with work for a little toast or something before the horde descends.
